So i had a talk with my Sissy Kai.. basically talking about the future of this blog. She decided she doesn't have the time anymore for posts, and as for me, i still post.. as sporadic as i am. I wanted to do MORE then fashion, i didn't want to be pigeon holed into only doing clothes, sometimes i just want to ramble!

(so obvious when i do aye?)

So, we're letting this blog go, there will be no more posts. Kai is semi-retiring and doing her RL basically. Yours truly (me dur!!) has just started a brand new blog! SUPER GANGSTER! I used the term so often, and all in jest, but it's really a comfortable fit for where i am SL-wise.

Summa-Summa Time

*Sighs sadly* I can't believe it's mid-august already!!! How can that be? It seems like only yesterday summer JUST started and now I'm staring at the fact that in a few weeks it will be over and "life" along with all its mundane responsibilities will begin! *cries suddenly* Summer PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME!

At least i still have SL (woot FTW!!!) and its forever sunshine depending on my windlight settings and if my island-mates don't throw rain clouds over our land (*waves* haiii Nic and Fai) i seem to be getting back into blogging, where I look at things in a whole new light and get excited about the fact i get to take pictures and post it up, but we shall see how long that last.

It never ceases to amaze me how small this SL world really is, i happened to be in a store when a girl comes up to be and says she's seen my blog and was visiting this store because i wore something in it. After speaking a bit, it turns out we actually have friends in common and i wondered.. if we were to do a 7 degrees of separation in SL, how many of us would be easily connected. Alts not included of course!

So i put together this very.. fun, playful "lets go sailing but i have to wear heels" type look! May i please take a moment to GUSH about Truth Hawk? I adore his hairs, they've been my favorite the past few months or so. I seem to go through phases, but the last few released (okies, maybe the last..10 releases?) Truth has definitely kept my attention and taken my Ls. I adore the colors, textures and style! Elle (released a few weeks ago) has definitely been my go-to, i love the slight waves and the long bangs sweeping across one eye. I wish i could get my hair to like this every day, disheveled and a tad messy but so incredibly sexy!

Has it been that long since i blogged that i FORGOT MY OWN PASSWORD? It has and i shamefully had to click that "forgot your password" link and sat there trying to remember my email information for this account a good 10 minutes.

I know i just turned 29, but my memory CAN NOT be fading! *face palms once again*
So what have i been up to? JACK! Its seriously been such a long time i forgot why i stopped posted. I although.. kept buying clothes! I recently stopped working, and you'd think I'd have the time to post and blog and spout random shit in my own little space on the web. I've been out more then anything and enjoying my RL, Sl..in some ways has lost all that luster and glow for me. I still come around for the incredible friends i have of course.

Hallllooooo Cali Girls!

It's been super hot these last few days in my hometown(although yesterday was super windy), summer is coming early! I've been hitting the gym every single day to drop my winter weight and to make sure I'm looking good for summer. I'm feeling very summery (is that a word??) today, and in keeping with my personal "challenge" of only blogging what i have for the next few posts and NOT buying new clothing... I went CLOSET DIVING (rofl). I pulled out one of my fave swimsuits from Casa Del Shai.. whom I've had a love affair with since i popped into her store 2 years ago (i seriously have major girly crush on Shai), I love the ruffled detail on the top and paired it with a pair of white shorts from Elephant Outfitters (aka Armidi). When the Billow Boots from Maitreya (GIRLY CRUSH!!!) came out, i remember everyone sporting them, although i bought several pairs, i made a note to myself not to blog it, because it seemed so repetitive. Her boots and shoes are fantastic and i most definitely give her lots of love, i adore the look of the boots with the short shorts. To finish my "Cali Girl" look, i had to pull out my blond hair. The funny thing is, I'm Asian in RL.. and have jet black hair. My friend Paolo says i cant be a blond, even my avatar because he just doesn't see it on me.. since he knows what i look like RL.. ROFL! I blame Pamela Anderson (who's a Canadian go figure!) but when i think of California, esp Southern Cali Beach Girl.. i think blond with blue eyes! I pulled out my super icy blue eyes because i love the way they pop against the skin and hair.

SPEAKING of SKIN! Rockberry's new Natural line is amazing. Usually i don't like heavy freckles, mainly because i don't think i can really pull it off and they have a tendency to be too dark or too light. I love these skins!! This is the first set I've ever bought for Rockberry and have been rocking it for the past 2 weeks I've had them. They're an incredible value, i believe i paid just 2K for all 6 skins. One of the best values on the grid in my opinion! I especially love the eye makeup and lip colors. We all know i love the darker eyes and lighter lips. My personal fave are skins B, C, D and F. When i love more then half of the skins in the line, it just makes SENSE to buy a fat pack. I know I'm not alone in this! VIVA LA SKIN OBSESSION!!

A Girl Needs a Lil GLAM in Her Life

A Girl DOES need a lil glam every so often and I've been finding myself in more and more casual wear as the days go by! I've retired from DJing about 2 months ago and i realize; i don't have anyplace to wear to of my crazier fashions! I don't club much anymore and I'm not i game enough to know whats going on where! I feel so out of the loops.. see what happens when you leave the game for 3 months! I suddenly had the need to pull out some incredibly sexy Haute Couture, I pieced this together and I've been running around looking much like a crazy runaway bride just rolled out of bed, and YES i am diggin it hard!

Since I'm not around as much anymore, i haven't been buying any Ls, i think I'll look at it as a challenge, i have a little over 27,000 items in my inventory and i always feel like i have NOTHING to wear... how is that possible!? I'm going to dig through my "closet" and pull out some classic pieces for the next few posts. Should be fun!

I gotta take a moment to GUSH about the skin. I've a huge fan of Detour, my go-to everyday hair is from Detour, I accidentally bought a skin from them once.. as in i meant to buy a demo and just bought the skin (lol epic fail!!).. and i did like it for its quirky qualities. I was there recently and literally fell heads over heels for 3 of their skins! its 3000Ls for 4 skins but well worth it. I adore Ash the most for its dark smokey eyes and the lightly colored pouty lips! Its how i wear my makeup in RL! I adore the green eyeshadow for its pop of color. If you haven't been to Detour yet.. GO NOW!!!

Yes, I am back!!! It's been a LONG LONG LONG time since I posted, RL has taken over my time.. and the bit of free time i had left, I'd rather sleep! But the semi-break from SL has been fantastic. I've become OBSESSED with a certain saga about a sparkling vampire. Yes.... I've become a TWILIGHT fan!! Not the movie though, that sucked so much arse, but the books.. MY BUDDHA!!! The books are BEYOND fantastic!! I read all 4 in about a week or so and have gone back to RE-READ them. Although i started to hate Bella's character.. i mean seriously?? WHINY much!??? I fell in love love loveeee with the wolf pack, mainly JACOB! Which is absolutly funny because my friend Fai and I argue for our boys all the time. The convo goes something like this..

Fai: Team Edward!!!
Bubs: Team Jacob!!
Fai: Whatever,t ake the wolf, you can smell like a wet dog
Bubs: I WILL take the wolf you bloodsucker-groupie! At least we get to have dirty doggy style sex in the forest! You know wolves can fuck like champs!

lol.. which makes me laugh so hard. So that brings me to a point, because i do have one!! I was at BOOM shopping during Aranel's 50-75% off sale and i saw all these TEAM EDWARD tshirts, they're sooooo cute and don't get me wrong, even if i am Team Edward, doesn't mean i don't appreciate the vampires in the book, personally, I LOVE EMMETT! So anyhoo, I sent Aranel a message.. basically saying.. "what about us TEAM JACOB girl!??" And Aranel, who i am sooooo inlove with right now, msgs me back and says "I'll make you one!" *screams* *claps* *falls over in a sudden burst of pleasure* Aranel made me a Team Jacob shirt... in yellow (my fave color) which I've been sporting around, Fai got a few Team Edward shirts, we were hanging with the boys and decided to do a mini photo-shoot/blog entry.

God my stories are so long winded!! So anyways, we're sporting BOOM t-shirts! I bought The Boy his because i saw it and knew he'd adore it! I took Token to grab his right before we did the shoot because he popped over to hang and i had to put him in the pic!

Word of the Day: BUTTCAPE!!!!

Everyone say it with me now... BUTTTTTCAPEEEEEE!!! I was shopping one day at Kawaii Jelly and I saw these cape things, i thought they were adorable, but as soon as i saw they were named "Butt Cape" I just squealed in delight and HAD to buy it. I remember my friend who was with me, started to shake his head and say "only you would get excited over clothes cus of a name" . Rofl, and it's so true, i ADORE cute things and this Butt Cape is one of the most adorable things i own. Leopard print on the inside, black on the outside, it comes with a prim belt attached and teeeny tiny booty shorts (because you just CAN'T wear only the cape now can you??)

I've had this item for quite sometime and keep meaning to blog i, but never got around to it (i say this for the other 25K items i have sitting in my inventory), one day I'll get to them all!! I did a very simple pairing for the ButtCape, i was initially going to only do the topless pic, but i figure i might as well do a look in case someone needed a "jump off" point of how to wear it. I adore these amerie's Naughty's arm warmers, the hair has been all over the blogs and i wont be the last to gush all over it, the skin is a gift from Tuli.. who spoils us rotten and i ADORE her for it.

Speaking of freebies ... I'm a fan of Shopping Cart Disco's SLsecret and read it pretty much every week. This last week, secret #5 honestly pissed me off. I love freebies as much as the next person, and as an example Tuli always gives away the best gifts, but i hate the thought of people just picking up her gifts without ever spending anything at her stores. I've been buying skins from Tuli since the days of her S3 line and have no plans to stop, plus i buy and give away gift cards from her for friends. I appreciate Tuli's talent and I'm an avid fan. This goes for a ton of other creators on the grid that I'm a huge fan of and WILL shop regardless of what gifts are given.
Also, sometimes.. I find myself tossing most of the freebies I get from hunts (not the great ones mind you!!)

So what's the point of this rambling you ask?? Nada, I just wanted to send out a huge THANK YOU to the designers who give away quality freebies in appreciation of their customers. We adore you and we DO shop at your stores <3

Ladies... I think it's time to switch roles. With Valentine's Day fast approaching, I'm sitting here, remember some of the boys in my life. What if i wasn't the good girl i most certainly am, what if i acted more like a boy, what if i played, cheated and never gave a fuck. Would the boys then sat around and waited on me? Suffice to say i NEVER waited for a boy.. well maybe 1... fine..maybe 2 but only because i was "in love", but at the same time, boys seem to have a knack for being dickheads and never giving a flying fuck! Not to say there aren't bad girls out there ( simmer down boys), but this isn't about that right now. I've been listening to Ciara's "Like a Boy" over and over most of this morning and put together an outfit inspired by the song.

Not to say i wanna be a player today, but wonder if i did, would things have been different. Bleh, i could never compromise myself or stoop to the level some of my EX's have.
So I bet you guys are going "wtf Bubs.. this i suppose to be a FASHION post, why are you babbling???" and my answer is.. well cus this is my blog and i can babble like that!! *smiles wide* But i will be talking about the outfit.. here's another look at it *big cheesy smile again*

I'm diggin the baggy pants, which i NEVER wear anymore in RL.. but used back in Jr High (rofl @ those days) and the shirt is body hugging sexy. They're both from
[ JP ] DESIGN, who i found one day just TPing around. JP lists themselves as grunge/neko wear with an assortment of shirts, tanks, shoes and cute Neko things. I bought these pants for one reason only... THE IPOD!!! It's wayyy cute attached to the high textured belt, and the pants and ipods come in about 5 color, all changeable with a drop down script menu (which i appreciate), detailed pockets all over the paints and a well made chain to the side complete with wallet and dollar bills sticking out (damn thats cute!!), the shirt comes 3 colors to a pack and prim rolled up sleeve and a carton of cigs. I gotta say, the clothing is detail orientated AND simple at the same time, and it just works

See those super BAD ASS rings I'm sporting!??? The pink one is my very own BUBBLES' Ring made by my girl Kieran Debevec, who JUST opened her first store CHLOE in the new Phoenix Rising sim (claps rapidly.. YEAAA KIER!!!!) When Kier first started making jewelry, she asked me for a project, and i said i wanted a HUGE ring, a "IN YOUR FACE - gaudy as hell - look at me look at me - I ROCK" kinda ring with a canary yellow Diamond. And she made it for me!!! You can now find it at her store CHLOE (along with some yum yum freebies she's set out) in different metal settings AND its scripted to change diamond colors. Did I mention she made the ring for my RIGHT hand without me asking (cus you know, dont want the boys to see me sporting it on my left, might think im attached ) GOD SHE ROCKS!!!!

The other is by Dango Jewel (FabulouS).. who i btw.. own everything of! Dango has a way of making retro 80s style jewelry with a modern twist. I find myself rocking her stuff hardcore, and this wide and pinky ring are certainly no different.

I said i wanted to dress like a boy.. but lets face it, i cant leave the PINK behind!! I gave it all a feminine touch with my pink scarf and head band on my hair. I was searching PINK TIMBERLANDS but couldn't find any (if you know where i can find some or wanna make me some.. drop me a HI inworld!!) so instead I'm sporting my Ubu Pink Rain Boots... yea I'm rocking it!!

Barbie Girl

I just realized its been AGES since I've blogged. RL has totally consumed my life the last few weeks. I moved in with my parents to save money..since the economy is like shit these days. Bye-bye to walking around my living room naked, or cooking at 2 am just because I'm hungry. My parents are asleep by 11pm and I have to be quiet after that.. it's SOOO WEIRD!!! My sister's and father's birthday were last week as well, along with a bday party for my baby sister.. with some of our closest friend, getting drunk and playing Cranium til 3am. Lol, RL is good!!!!

Anyhoo, to the post!! It's a quick one, but i haven't been in game lately..so I've had the same thing on for.. days, very different for me i know. Since I've been known to change every single day! The top... i adore, it's very simple and actually is a part of a dress, but i adored the top portion so much i've been wearing it with pants. It was a gift to bloggers from Aranel Ah (wooot ty Aranel!!) of *BOOM in honor of her new Main Store and will be officially available as a dollarbie opening day (feb 20th). I adddddddore BOOM clothing, so i was all about ripping open my package as soon as it was dropped! I paired the top with the gorgeous leather pants from Fishy Strawberry and heels from AW Design. I don't know why, but I've been in love with white hair... or very platinum blond, it just works with my dark skin, i feel very Barbie Girl.. or Barbarella (worlds GREATEST MOVIE!!) in it. Its simple but its what I've been running around in when i am in game. I'm almost settled now, though my closet and room here looks like a tornado hit it, but i like living in chaos. Its when things are organized i have NO IDEA where things are.

Gah!!! Why is it so cold these days?? Damn winter, luckily we have SL and its forever 80 degree weather for wearing next to nothing. Maybe i should note its only about 60 degrees where i am, but that's cold for me, i need at least 90 degree weather. I'm Californian, what can i say?

Last time i posted i pulled out one of my fave mini-dresses, i decided to do it again. This has got to be the most PERFECT mini-dresses ever!!! I love Digit Darkes and when this was released, i ran over some invisible non-rezzed bishes getting over to the vendor wall so i can get my Digit fix. I know, im HARDCORE (dont act like you don't know rofl) I love the perfect lace details at the top and bottom, I've worn this as a dress out and as a dress in (ahem, was VERY well received in) what else can i say about it besides PERFECT! I decided to go for a "I'm stepping out and I'm taking no prisoners" look with the dress today, a cute shrugs from Boom, Gladiator Boots and simple jewelry.

Speaking of jewelry, my kick ass earrings are made by my girl and new jewelry designer Kieran Debevec. Kier is opening her very first store CHLOE in the new Rising Pheonix sim (opening this Sat) so you'd better pop on over!

Back to what i was saying (i am sooo ADD i know) so after Nic told me the Leona skins have been released, I ran over and couldn't decide between Pale and Tan.. so ended up getting them both. Honestly, Redgrave's bundle pack are such a deal that it seems silly NOT to buy in bundles. I've been sporting the makeup in blue, glitter and ash which are my faves so far. So honestly, the title has nothing to do with the clothing and i find myself doing more "blogging" about random things including clothing, so why should this entry be any different?? I just saw Slumdog Millionaire tonight, I've heard such incredible reviews about it but i wasn't going to see it, i figure...all that hype, you know I'll probably hate it. On the encouragement of 3 GFs.. and the fact that i got out-voted on the movies (I wanted to see Bride Wars.. sue me, i dig cheesy shit like that) we saw Slumdog. The opening sequence with the kids running through the slums was fuckin amazing and it really makes you think.

I wont spoil the movie, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if it's in your area GO SEE IT!!! It's fucking amazing, i found myself holding my breath, rooting for the underdog, twisting and turning as the plot.. and that's all I'll say.. oh and the soundtrack is amazing, I'm popping over to the record store after this to pick up a copy.

So now that I've said my peace on that subject.. the look! I've been sporting this a few days now. The En Svale jacket that's been blogged by everyone, their mama and alts, and i wasn't going to, honestly i was holding back. BUT I HAD TO!! It worked with my 80s-ish look and is frankly..a DAMN nice jacket. I've always been a fan of Emery, I've had this dress for a LONG TIME and wear it quite often and figured it about time to blog it! I dig the graphics, it reminds me of when i was 8 with those "super posh Le Chic" graphic tee's i so cherished. I went with torn "fuck you and your stockings without holes, i have holes cus i just don't care for the government or conformity" stockings, very punk, jewelry from FABULOUS. Funny story about Fabulous, i found it one day shopping and i've been addicted since, i dig the very 80's feel and i literally own everything Dango made, and these rings.. DIG SOOOO HARD CORE!! Just go get them, you wont regret it and of course, the perfect boots for it all.. Redgrave.

The roads are icy and I'm still stuck at my house and was really feeling the need for something warm and snuggly. I had gone to pick up that denim jacket from En Svale that everyone is blogging these days and discovered tons of other awesome clothes, such as the sweater and pants shown here!

Such awesome detailing of the edges and buttons. The sweater is also offered in a light tan and the pants come in a light gray and what the creator calls rose, but looks more like a brown to me. The whole outfit was feeling kinda european hunting lodge to me, so I paired it with the sassy bob and cap from Argrace and skin from KA (the light smattering of freckles across the nose is uber cute!)

Seems I'm trying to make up for lost time blogging almost every day now. But as I was shopping I saw these shoes at GBL (Georgiabean Lately) and while I'm not a huge Hello Kitty fan, I do know at least one lady that is, so I had to showcase them in her honor (Here ya go Fai).

I had found both the shoes and the plaid capri pants from Axel during my Crush Row shopping excursion and all I needed was a top to pull it all together. This lovely hot pink tee with a scooped neck and clickable color-change belt was the perfect match.

The whole time I was working on the pics for this item, I kept thinking that this combo of hair/shape/skin/eyes reminded me of someone, but I couldn't quite place it until I saw an ad on TV...Gretchen from the Housewives of Orange County on Bravo. Hmm, heart of gold or golddigger? Can't wait to find out what happened after they got her drunk on tequila.

So, I'm wandering around Crush Row, seeing what's new during my absence, not much paying attention to what stores I'm in and I happen upon this top. Had to have it. In the immortal words of Wesley Snipes in To Wong Fu.."FRINGE!" After my bout of faintness had passed I noticed what store it was. Imagine my surprise that it was the very same Boom that my sista Bubs has been raving about.

So anyway, I was thinking to pair it with some artsy bell-bottoms and go for a hippie look, but when i put it on with the denim micro-mini I already had on from Calypso, a seed was planted. After rummaging through the overstuffed inventory for just the right hair and boots...Voila! Jessica Simpson as Daisy Duke.

I gotta say, it's sooo much more fun to be a girl (sorry boys) I haven't done many girly looks lately, so i gotta go back to my roots!! I love girly skirts, fluffy, pretty, princessy, take care of me, from my dad's house to my husband's house, finishing school, eating dinner with 6 forks GIRLY!!!! Okie...maybe that's too damn girly, but you get my drift. The way I dress, it seems, is to pick out one item, then build a look around that item. I'm a big mixer and matcher, though there are many designers i just wear the outfit is as.. bu i digress! I chose this incredibly wonderful skirt from Kawaii Jelly (which btw, has the BEST name for a shop in all of SL..i means seriously.. KAWAIIIIIII!!!) because of its fluffy wonderful goodness. I tried out many options and settled for this pretty look. Kinda sporty, kinda glam, just really friggin cute. The shirt is from ETD and as for jewelry, i wanted this huge honkin super pretentious ring and its Paper Couture to the rescue! I sported a very short hair do' just because it felt right and of course my most favorite earrings.. EVER, i thought long hair would distract too much from the skirt goodness.

I don't think enough people blog Apple May Design skins.. seriously.. go check our line out, there's some serious goodness there, i especially love the dark eyes and pale pale lips. All in all, it was a happy SL day walking around!!

Back again for another drive-by fashion blog! While most of my outfits are usually mix n' match, there are just some designers that put together such fantabulous ensembles that they MUST be worn together...such is the case with ZIPZ. I hadn't been in a while, so I dropped in to see what was new in the past few months and I found.. Alor.

What sets ZIPZ apart from the other ensemble designers that I adore isn't the use of prim pieces and accessories to bring it all together, but with the intricate details of the actual clothing pieces. The ruffle and neckline trim in this outfit (as shown in the close-up) is amazing and makes me super-jealous that I don't have the talent to create items like this. Well, no, not really, I'm actually thankful that other people do have the patience and skill so I have stuff to shop for!

Speaking of details, my blog-mate, super friend, sister extrordinaire gave me a head's up to check out Digit Darkes' new line of skins, Undressed. Though the makeups are a bit heavier than I would wear on a day-to-day basis, especially with the eyeliner, they work beautifully with my edgier outfits. Check out the detailing around the eyes of this one called Feather...and combined with my new favorite eyes from MADesigns....just wow!

BOOOOOM shake shake the roooom!! Rofl, no seriously, i think the first time i ever went into Boom was this past winter to grab the super cute earmuffs they had going on. I took a look around the store and was like.. "yea... gotta come back soon" Im all sorts of inlove with these jeans. They're the perfect low riders. Low enough for some sexy tattoo show off..but not so low you can say hi to my Cooch (like how i capitalized Cooch?? its THAT important rofl) The top is a new release i've been sporting at the clubs cus i dig a little but of club slut gear!

The skin is pure Digit Darkes goodness! I remember checking out Digit Darkes back when it was called X3D when my friend Grey Marquette would salivate over the clothing and had to show me the store. I haven't stopped shopping there since. At one point, i was pretty confident i owned close to half the clothing items and was working towards 100% ownership. Trust when i get into a brand name.. i fully immerse myself into the genus that is that designer!

I'm sporting skin from Digit's new line Undressed. I'm a true skin whore, i dig crazy couture style makeup and everyday. I'm sporting the Koralo makeup in the Sunkissed tone. I really do dig the lipstick on this skin, its the right amount of gloss for me. Its an everyday kinda look, though the skin line has many couture like looks, i wish there was more variety when it comes to lipstick colors. I do however.. LOVE LOVE LOVE the ass.. i was strutting around my island in a tiny bikini bottom just so i can stare at my ass. On that note.. i think i should have taken a pic of my bottom, maybe next time. But here's a closer look at the face which i adore while i listen to music, finish decorating my shack finally with the newest release from The Loft. Did i mention i love to karaoke but i am tone deaf? My friends said i cant carry a tune in a bucket. BISHES!!!

Secret confessions of a DJ #1: There are certain songs in SL that get suppppper over-played. You all know the one, Crazy Bitch, Bilingual, Buttons, I Kissed a Girl... etc, sometimes i cringe when those get requested and i accidentally misplace the songs.. OOOOOOPSIE!!!!

Secret confessions of a DJ #2: There are certain over-played songs that i ABSOLUTELY love and will play them even if not asked to, one of those is Katy Perry's Hot and Cold. I'm sorry, i looooooooooooove that song and video.. which brings me to my look! I re-created (sorta kinda) the look at Min 3:24 from the music video. Although its a typical 80s look, i realize i had blogged one of those yet! I've been rocking this look time to time.

Flattlined had a Boot Scootin Boogie event a few nights ago. Country music basically and western wear.. so i put something like this together to go party. For the outfit I'd suggest something from Silent Sparrow, skin hmm...maybe the gothic elizabeth skins by Tuli or the [42] Dark Matter skins. If you happen to own some goth makeup in your inventore that will do fine as well. Hair from Calico or Detour and maybe you can add a little drama to the whole thing by using horns or wings or something like that ;)

Funny enough.. i know Tear, we used to work together at what was SL's oldest running club.. The Edge (before it closed) and she was also one of my downlines in Tiny Empire... YES!!! i fell for tiny empire!! gahhhh!!!!!

So onto the look!! I've never been to Silent Sparrow before.. and while walking through.. this dress caught my eye right away. I love that there's so many pieces to mix and match, I went for the Lolita skirt and the jacket layer only, but it also comes with a full skirt and corset as well. I already had my hoofs and horns when i went shopping so i kept it on and i thought it worked anyways. The skin.. i went for the palest Celestial Skin the the Deviant Nation line.. I realized i bought it over a year ago and never wore it. I dig the runny mascara look and the pale pale lips. Hair.. just like Tear said.. i motored over to Detour.. i usually wear the Detour Bliss hair as my default hair, i went for a full bangs look of the Nocturne I, which is quickly becoming my new default hair. Before i realized it.. i became a Bubbles Baby Doll.. lol.. or at least i felt like it.

gahh its 5am.. its way too early to be up blogging this but im on East Coast time for work.. so i figure i might as well. I've been having trouble lately with my SL viewer and attachments, when i zoom in to take a pic..the attachments disappear, when i double check they're on and cam away.. they reappear. Funny that and its messing with my blogging pictures. I'd better end this before i have the urging to kick SL in her VaJayJay!

As The Sun Sets

12/24/08 1:43am - I'm sitting here... reflecting on the passing year. Now in its sunset stage.. i realize how hard but fucking wonderful this year has been for me. In the beginning.. my heart broke, shattered in so many pieces i wondered many times over if I'd ever be able to pick the pieces up and put them together again. At times its hard to still think of him.. but the thoughts are few and far in between, it heps that he no longer thinks of me and those proposals to be friends was nothing more then him wanting to feel less guilty about finding a soul mate and reducing me to nothing more then time killer. I loved him more then i allowed myself to... but now.. i realized some good came out of it. I can still feel, i can still love and i can open myself up to be loved. That's a beautiful thought in itself.

This year.. I've done so much and discovered so much about myself and met so many incredible people along the way. I learned i wasn't so bad at Photoshop, i rekindled my love of writing, I found friends who made me laugh til the wee hours of the morning. A naked shopping trip one day served to solidify a friendship i don't want to live without. A brave moment, when i stepped into a poetry reading and put my words into public for the first time and received such positive reinforcements.. i haven't stopped writing since. A boy who spoke to me after a poetry reading.. awkward but so real i had to talk to him the next day.. turned into a 10 hour conversation.. then 14 hours.. and in one week..we spoke to each other more then we worked our RL full time jobs. He reminded me how much fun it was to stay up giggling and talking long into the night. My SL- Sissy, my blog mate... who pushed me to restart a blog.. keeping me on my toes and in the Social World of SL, who's also been there with a level head through some tough times.

In this online world.. where trust is easily broken.. where lies runs abundant.. alts are easily made and given a new persona, in all this chaos I've finally found a silver lining. There's too any to name at the moment and too many experiences to recall.. but a sincere and heartfelt thanks to the people who have loved me this entire year, who've supported me, who reminded me i am worthy of love, of TRUE friendship, of laughter and sincerity.

To a new year full of new discoveries and experiences.. Happy Holidays and Happy New Years everyone!!!!

Winter Coat

This is my version of a winter coat ok! Honestly.. i was browsing Amerie's NAUGHTY one day because i dig that store and stumbled upon this jacket and went all sorts of crazy. Men get a hard-on when they see some body goodness.. my nipples get hard for good fashion and I'm so not ashamed to admit it! The feathers along the collars and sleeves are double cuteness.. esp with the little wisps of peacock feathers. I dig the openness of this coat.. I can layer it..or just go breast out tattoos on (like I've done here). My jeans.. of course were the first pair I've ever bought from Calypso Giano. When i saw the sign said "low rider" I thought "ooh cool, lemme get that" and.. ooooh MY DAMN these are low! I'm so glad i keep my pubes waxed ROFL (erm..was that too much info???) I love the texture of the jeans and it comes with 2 different cuffs. I chose to tie it all together with Truth's new boots and the cutest ear muffs. I went out in RL yesterday for my baby bro's bday dinner in SF..and i swear to Buddha..my ears almost fell off in the cold, when i got back into SL..i immmmmediatly decided to wear these muffs for the next few days. It just makes me feel better don't ask!

I just realized.. reading through all of that a few hours after i wrote it.. the cold must have affected my brain.. because I'm all over the place lol!!! eh.. I'll publish it anyway! (look darling.. NO S!!!)

I don't celebrate Christmas, it's not my religion, but i still love all the wintery stuff, i didn't want to do yet another winter wear post since EVERYONE is doing one, so i decided feature this dress from Gothicatz.. which i LOVE btw and have worn for the past 2 days straight. Its a sweet Baby Doll dress with a very girly swish feel to it, i love the over sized bow, the delicate lace mesh skirts and the details on the top. The antlers are VINTAGE DAZZLE!! That's right, Ginny sent these out as a gift back in dec 06 (can you believe it??) before she renamed the brand Last Call.. i so treasure everything Ginny.. i had to pull it out because Nic and i were having antler sex at Flattlined's Disco Event.. err.. yea.. that's how we roll!

Its funny how Bubs and I seem to be on the same wavelength many times, as we've both chosen to show off some Bare Rose fashions. This outfit, Hellfire Lady, is one of my top 2 favorites from there. I've been getting into the period look lately..and I'm not sure why. Victorian... French Revolution..etc.. it just looks cool and fun to me. SL most def lets me indulge in fashion i cant wear everyday in RL. Bare Rose has always been a hit or miss for me. I find items that makes me squeal at times and i cant believe they're going for the low prices Bare Rose is so famous for, or i find incredible horrific things that makes me go.. WTF!??? In any case, im still a fan of their creative side, they have so much and it takes a long time to walk through that place and rezz everything but worth it for the perfect find! I had to do the hair from Minnu, its funky as hell and fits so damn well.. it gives a certain androgynous look to this outfit..and as a dirrrrrty Revolutionary girl.. of course i'd wear lingerie underneath. I think i said it best in this convo with Nic while i was taking pics for this blog post.. Fuck The Cake... Fuck Me Instead!! rofl

Random thoughts about grapes... its 2am.. indulge me!! I love grapes, green frozen seedless grapes, ripe and sweet with a hint of sourness. When i think grapes, i think green.. my favorite grapes.. then red.. but only if they don't have green. So why is it, when it comes to colors... purple is sometimes called grape. So what happens when I'm awake at 3am?? I dress up for the day and my blog rofl! I bought this dress from AiYaiYai (friggin cutest name for a store ever) a few weeks ago when she had her sale for 25 or 30Ls.. but i cant remember if i got the dress for that much or full price.. but anyhoo! I haven't worn it yet (I'm seeing that i have too many pieces i buy but have never worn) and decided to build a look around the dress. As much as i love short dresses, i felt like covering my legs, the bolero is Digit Darkes goodness ( because damn near 99% that comes out of that store is gooooooodness) that i felt tied the look together, add some cute gold jewelry and voila!!

I've been wearing a lot more gold jewelry lately, usually I'm a silver go to girl, thanks Jewelry Expo for exposing me to some incredible gold pieces!

Its been raining here lately and my mood has been gloooooomy. I do love the rain but only when I'm warm in my bed with a good book, when i have to be out in the rain and drive and deal with pple, then its not fun anymore! Late one night.. 3 girls couldnt sleep.. stumbled and tumbled upon a pumpkin patch (ok, we really couldnt sleep and the pumpkin ptch was on fai/nic's land haha) dressed as sweet little Snow White, Alice in Wonderland and Glenda the Good Witch. Out of no where the sky turned green and ghosts appeared!!! The girls turned ghoooooooulish and squealed.. TRICK OR TREAT!!

My Alice in Wonderland look is disturbingly bloody and i love it! Looks like Alice fell down that rabbit hoel and smashed up her pretty face a little. I bought the costume last Halloween and im not sure its still avaiable, guess one way to find out is to stumble on over to Random!

I normally don't go for patterns much, but I love these high-waisted houndstooth pants and when matched with this black turtleneck, the look is casual, but elegant. I'm really enjoying the trend towards using prim/sculptie cuffs on shirts and jackets, as it cuts out about five minutes from my dressing time when I don't have to search for bracelets to complete the look. So, to add some sparkle, I used some lovely accessories from Miriel and Lua, as well as the Champagne boots from Bianca Foulon.

...Maybe not the most inventive of titles for this post, but I plead my yearly autumn sinus infection and beg for mercy. I know at last count sometime last year, I had over 150 formal gowns and their numbers, like rabbits, have seemed to grow exponentially. This one in particular is another from Soraya Shan that I picked up at Glam Expo, but didn't fit in with my color scheme of the prior post. I love this deep turquoise shade and the bodice is simply incredible.

So what happens when i finally decide to organize my incredibly cluttered and messy inventory!?? I find incredible pieces i forgot i bought and NEVER wore. I am not a big fan of system skirts.. my shape already has a nice badonkadonk on it, these skirts just ad about 15lbs and not in the right spots either! This skirt by Mimikiri is just too adorable which is prob why i bought it. I've been a long time fan of Bijou and i have so many different looks form them.. casual fun to this beautifully textured elegant jacket. I tied the look together with gloves, simple accessories and heels... VIOLA!! Monochrome magic .. *pats self on back* I think im ready for a night at the Opera!

I felt like being bad today...or at least looking the part, so I whipped the Boss out of the inventory, polished off the layers of dust (since I haven't ridden in almost a year due to laaaag) and put together a bad-a$$ outfit.

The hat/hair combo is from Exxess and they have it in male and female styles...my hubby loves his and wears it almost exclusively these days. The tank is one of my favorites, comes in a myriad of colors and all three layers with short and long options and is topped with a bandana from :sey, which comes in 5 or 6 patterns/styles and each one menu-driven color change. Ripped jeans, biker boots and full body tattoos completed my look.

Brrrrr.. it's defiantly getting extremely cold tonight. I'm a true blue Californian and i don't do well in any temperature below 60, i put this look together because to me, its the perfect (first date) fall date night look. When I break out of Barbie mode, I love to do it with Exxess, the clothing that is. Not only are the clothes faaabulous, but each outfit comes complete with accessories and shoes/boots, like the Sabbath outfit shown here.

The detailing is just beyond incredible and add to that the new Moon skin from Redgrave and I'm completely in love with this ensemble.

Crisp Fall Day

Crisp fall air, leaves in shades of the sunset fallen on the ground crunching under our feet.... Yea i don't get much of that since i live in California and we have 2 weather... Hot... and not so hot! Lol! I do however love fall and the air just a little bit cleaner and i finally get to wear.. a JACKET! its getting there..except to day was 88 degrees.. go figure, at least i can still dress the part here in SL!

Can i please draw attention to this ring?? Kieran Debevec (a friend of mine from Steady Rock Island RP sim) who just started dabbling in mini prims and fine jewelry sent me some things she was working on for her line ENOUGH. While talking i mentioned i wanted a ring... a big gaudy yellow canary diamond ring. A few days later..this was sent to me (did i mentioned its named after me also!?) and i started to squeal and pretty much haven't taken it off since. Thanks Kieran!! I'm still going to keep bothering you to sell your line!

I gotta gush about this skin! I love Apple May Designs, and recently Apple had a 75L sale on clothing and selected skins.. just for the hell of it. I found this gem and immediately fell in love with it. Its how i wear my makeup RL, liner and a bit of eye shadow, bronze blush and light glossy lips. I feel at home with this makeup and skin. Mmmm Furr & SL Mini-Rant

As usual, SL has done it again. For the past month or so, I've had a disappearing prim issue. Either prims (worn or rezzed) just randomly disappear on me OR I see the prims in world, I see them in my snapshot preview, but when I go to my image editing software...they aren't in the picture. WTF is up with that???? I've had whole skirts, hair, sometimes half my hair, jewelry, shoes, etc. all not show up in my images and completely ruin a whole set of shots. So, I take a pic, go to my editing software, open it, make sure everything is there and continue on with my shots...only to find out later, they disappeared when I changed poses. They also disappear when I zoom in to get a close-up or even change angles. *siiighs* Just like in the following ensemble...

This fabulous, lushly-textured fur jacket and skirt combination from Earth & Sky Design also has an adorable hat included in the set, which I was wearing, only to have it poof in the actual pictures. Upon further review of the images I ended up with, sans hat, my newest skin from The Obscene, when combined with my shape looks eerily like Paris Hilton...ewww. I adore the skin, especially the shading that creates a soft facial glow, so I guess I'll have to make a new shape to wear with it to avoid the Paris-clone issue.

What can i say about Nicky Ree that hasn't been said before? INCREDIBLE TEXTURES AND PRIM WORK!!! She is most def my GO TO when it comes to formal wear. When i first saw Tang Empress many month ago, i went literally ape shit and bought the original Gold dress. A few months ago Nicky re-released the Tang Empress in 6 new colors (the Gold is still available) and i just picked up 2 more this past few days during her sale. This dress in red.. is beyond beautiful, the texture work makes me wet.. (year i get fashion orgasms!!) its so real i find myself reach out to touch my screen hoping to feel the rich brocade fabric!

Tang Empress has a most impressive train, the full look with a dress and jacket with beautiful lace arms.

The dress itself without the jacket is incredible, i really do feel like an Empress in it. When i first saw the original Gold Tang Empress, it struck me how wonderfully similar it was to the Empress' dress in Curse of The Gold Flower.. an incredible movie for those who haven't seen it!

So I was attempting to reorganize my inventory the other night (amazing how it can get out of hand so quickly) and I ran across a block of some Bare Rose stuff that I don't actually remember buying..hmmm. Since there were no pics in the folders, I tried on the first one and I was pleasantly surprised by this jacket/shirt combo called Bellezza. I loved the texturing in the jacket and the rolled-prim sleeves, so I paired it with some linen pants from Skin Flicks and came up with this very classy looking ensemble, perfect for when jeans are too casual and you don't feel like wearing a dress.

Glam in Chocolate and Blue

The word "Expo" is enough to evoke a Pavlovian response out of any true fashionista--eyes sparkling, heart hammering and of course, the drooling. After all the hype, I have to say, I was a bit disappointed in the Glam Expo as a whole. Maybe I'm just becoming jaded from being too saturated with these type events in the past few months, but I associate "Expo" with a chance for designers to shine, bringing out new collections and pieces, not just drag out the same things I've seen hanging in their shops for months. When I think of Glam, its red-carpet-walking, awards ceremony, high fashion...upscale designs, impeccable quality and textures to salivate over. Many of the booths looked as if a 1980s high school prom exploded on their walls or even worse, offerings that were less than stellar in design and quality. I'm a shopaholic, but when I leave an Expo and haven't spent at least $10,000L, something is wrong.

This isn't to say that there weren't a few shining jewels in a sea of blah, as some of my fellow bloggers have highlighted already. Kudos also go out to the organizer(s) for all their hard work because it certainly can't be easy wrangling that many designers and still provide such a low lag expo experience. Now for a few of the treasures I snagged...The four dresses featured here by two different creators are everything that Glam should be and are clearly my favorites, featuring rich textures full of depth and shine, matched with creative flair and excellent quality.

The Palace of Illusions

I recently just finished The Palace of Illusions by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni, a story about the Mahabharat from a woman’s view, though not just any woman, but Draupadi. Born in fire with her twin brother to fulfill their father, the King of Panchaal’s thirst for revenge, she alone will change the course of history. I fell in love with this book, with Panchaali’s (Draupadi’s nickname) complicated yet headstrong character, her determination to fulfill what is demanded of her through hardships, marriages, humiliation and the Great War of its time. Towards the end I began to beg Panchaali’s character to, for once, say what is in her heart, don’t bite your tongue despite what you may face and when the truth was there ripped for plucking she didn’t, she chose duty over a love her heart longed for since the day of her swayamvar. So much would have been different if she chose the man who man her heart swell and bangles jingle softly, would she then have brought to reality the war that killed so many and left other lives destroyed?

So what’s the point of this babble and why has this book gotten me so riled up? I honestly can’t say, I almost refuse to let her story finish the way it has, so.. For you Panchaali.. Wedding attire for the one you never had.. to the one you’ve loved all along.. who… through it all, loved you just as much.

Fashion Show Ready!

Since there were a couple of fashion shows I wanted to attend this weekend, I set myself a challenge of trying to come up with a low ARC ensemble. What is ARC you ask? At its most basic, everything you see on your screen like textures, bling, glow, particles, flexi items, prims and even invisible prims, affects your viewer's graphics processing, which, if I understand correctly, affects how fast you and things around you rez and your frame rate. I'm no expert but there's was a Linden explanation that you can see here http://blog.secondlife.com/2008/05/01/who-me-yes-you-couldnt-be-then-who-introducing-avatar-rendering-cost that explains it in more detail and even gives the point figure breakdown of the factors that determine your ARC. To see everyone's ARC, go to Advanced>Rendering>Info Displays>Avatar Rendering Cost. If you don't have the Advanced menu showing use Ctrl+Alt+D or Ctrl+Alt+Shift+D. The ARC figures will be floating above each avatar.

That out of the way, on with the outfit. My normal avatar ARC usually runs between 2000-4000...ouch. My goal was to come in under 500, with low prims and still look fabulous. Instead of my usual super-flexi hair, I went with a simple and elegant style from ETD. I was going to wear a skin with hand-drawn eyelashes, but I was just dying to show off the new Meredith skin from Tuli so I splurged a little and added some prim lashes. Sophistication and a touch of glamour is the look I was going for with the no-prim skirt, top which I finished with some low prim, but dainty looking slides from Aphrodite's Creations. I agonized over the jewelry, but finished my look with some single-prim bangles and small pearl earrings. Final figures: ARC=347; Prims=65; Getting everyone else to wear low ARC outfits when attending crowded functions=priceless.

Last night i caught a late night showing of The Godfather, which I've never seen before and really had no interest (blasphemy i hear all the men cry!) its just not my type of movie! I do however, dig pin strip which seems the be the uniform of all Mobsters world wide, (could they possibly shop at the Mobster warehouse?? clothing for the most gangsters of taste) so as my mind wonders while the movie was flickering in front of my face.. i imagine what I'd be like as a Mobstress ( dig that word!) and well... I just recently watch the True Hollywood Story of Kimora Lee Simmons and I'm completely fascinated with her. She has everything a woman could ever dream of.. an incredible career, money, fashion, family love, as an Asian woman she's an inspiration and an incredible role model for young women of color. I'm completely in love with her style and the Baby Phat line. This look to me is truly the essence of Baby Phat, its urban glam, a young woman who knows what she wants and know how to get it with attitude to match. She's confident enough to rock this tinie bikini but is stylish as hell with her hair and jewelry. This is what i want to evoke in RL and at times do when i sport my Baby Phat clothing. I need to draw special attention to this watch here. A gift from The Boy (soooo sweet i know) it's and incredible piece of work almost 250 prims and its color changeable, my eyes are going cross eyed trying to zoom in close enough to catch all the subtle details. Ok, anyone that knows me is probably wondering who that is...I'm so Barbie that the only time I look like that picture is for an event. BUT, I had tp'd into this cute Japanese sim to pick up some accessories (to be blogged later) and when I started wandering the streets, came across this incredible boutique, Susie's. What I saw in the ads looked so cute, in that gothy/punkiness way, that I picked up a few items to blog. I tried them on and the ads weren't misleading, everything I purchased was well-fitted to scale, meaning no huge boots or bracers. Upon closer inspection, the creator's attention to detail was astounding and I especially liked the way the lining of the boots just so happened to match the skirt I chose! There were a couple things missing to make the ensemble complete, so upon inventory digging, I came up with these cute finger gloves and tights from Cachet. Its difficult to really see in the picture, but the tights have a really cute shading at the knee to give them a wrinkled effect.

I was debating a bit whether or not to blog the Zaara jeans because EVERYONE has blogged it and EVERYONE has it. Rightfully so because they're incredible and i haven't taken them off since i bought them the day they were released. Finally i decided.. since everyone has them, why not post another idea on how to sport them! I went pure young HOLLYWOOD with my look (think Gwen Stefani on a night out) the platinum blond hair pulled away form the face in a funky pompadour type do, faux fur jacket (of course) big funky earrings and bracelets, funky gloves and bright bright shoes. The hipster jeans tie it all in and because this IS Hollywood... I must sport the over sized sunglasses!

Alot of designers do evening gowns, but I can count on one hand the number of designers that do them well enough to ~always~ guarantee not only an elegant style, but quality primwork as well. VictoriaV is one of them. This stunning creation, called Renee, has a fabulous texture that actually seems to sparkle as the light plays over the fabric which matches well with the glittery shoes I excavated from my inventory (the creator was showing as "unknown" but I do remember I bought them in several colors from LeCadre). Gloria Swanson I'm not, but I'm ready for my close-up Mr. DeMille.

I feel pretty, oh, so pretty, I feel pretty and witty and bright!! I do, I do!!! I was going for a very classic 60s party type look. When people used to get dressed up for dinner parties. I see my self in 1962, hailing a cab in old New York to have dinner with a very handsome date *sigh* Rock Hudson perhaps?? If he weren't gay lol. I added a splash of color to the dress with purple simple pumps. I went heavy on the jewelry with black pearl earrings, bracelets and that incredible tier black pearl necklace and broach. To show off my beautiful shoulders and not compete with the necklace, i chose a high up do with lots of wispy fun accents around my face. Lastly a woman should never go out on the town with out the perfect bag with cash..in case he turns out to be a dud, for a cab and hot dogs of course!

I started to dig into my mess of an inventory today, usually I'm very good and keeping it organized but these past few months its gotten out of control. So while digging i pulled up this beautiful top by Last Call and it makes me miss Ginny more and more. Her work is incredible and i don't think I've found another store yet who's hooked me like CRACK the way Last Call has. This incredible A-Symmetrical skirt from CAKE moves beautifully. I went very minimal on makeup, hair and jewelry topped it all off with a pair of boots and I'm stylin!

Take one shopping addict, add an incredible fashion mecca like the Velvet sim, throw in a hot sports car and for the cherry on top, a fabulous new fur-trimmed jacket from Ibizarre and I must have died and passed on to my final reward!

I love PJs RL and when i saw these INCREDIBLE ones from Mischief, I had to get them. As always I'm super in love with my bed from The Loft and any excuse to get it in another shot.. is an excuse I'm willing to make!! I wear something similar to this to bed RL and if the boy is around..the top comes off or a cuddle.. WOOT!! ~from the motion picture, GreaseI just happened to be re-watching Gease this past weekend (for about the 100th time) and decided I totally had to recreate Cha Cha DiGregorio.
The bad girl we all loved to hate is in a stunning polka dot creation from Ingenue called, fittingly enough, Cha Cha. For her wild black mane, the Toss Me Around style from Bishwear suited her perfectly, as well as the red flower from Curio. Finishing the look is some simple black beads and cherry earrings, as well as the cross-belt pumps from J's (with those realistic looking tootsies and toe ring).

I decided to put together a look that was most definatly a "10", the kinda girl who'd be in ths music video walkin around, struttin her stuff and lookin FLY! I Pulled out my "Shorty" shape, which isnt my dream amazon figure...this is the more realistic me. The skinny jeans are from Viva La Glam and if you havent gone there yet, DO SO NOW!! They're closing soon (bummer) and you'll be missing out on what could be the most perfect jeans ever!!! The top and jewerly is Zaara, I'm such a fan of that store and all the Indian/Bollywood insipired pieces. The texture and colors are beyond rich.

Lastly, the SKIN! I cant say enough about it! Apple May Designs really is under-rated when it comes to skins. Her work is phenominal. I love the dark tones and "girly" makeup. The body is incredible and im such stickler for nipples... AMD has beautiful nipples on her skin! Soo.. peeeenchable! I bought this beautiful skin the first day it was released and i just noticed something, the girl in the "Shorty is a 10" video at minute 1:14 looks just like my Avi!

...Time for a goth kitten to go out and play. No, not a neko kitten, a sex kitten!

I normally mix and match designers in my outfits, but sometimes you find a whole ensemble that is just too fabulous not to wear all together, like this fishnet body stocking from Exxess. And what makes it even more to die for??? Each outfit comes jam packed with accessories and yes...even shoes/boots!!!!!

Next challenge was finding the perfect skin and hair to do justice to the outfit, so I chose some wild curly locks from Bishwear and one of the special edition skins in the Nefertiti line from Beauty Avatar. I included a close-up so you could see the exquisite detailing of the make-up and lace inset covering the forehead. If I wasn't normally a barbie girl, I'd definitely adopt this for my avatar's look.

I love tapping into my Asian side on SL, theres not enough Asian-inspired designs on SL in my opinion. This incredible Haute Couture piece was (i think) inspired by an RL wedding dress. Nyla Cheeky of House of Nyla seriously won my heart with this dress. I love the ruffles of the skirt, i love subtle detail of a golden dragon on the corset, the draping and all over sillouhette of it. All jewelry is from Zaara and i went with simple hair because the dress is just the center of attention. Le Sigh

So I was out shopping and popped into BellaRose (to die for furniture!) to grab a shelf that went with the couch for our theater that I just redecorated and happened to see this sofa that blended so well with what I was wearing. I immediately started mentally scanning the house to see what room I could buy it for. Hmm, maybe I could start a new trend! My sweetie indulges my whims, but I don't think he'd appreciate coming home every day and not knowing whether he was in the right house if I changed decor everytime I put on a new outfit.

But about the clothes...I totally fell in lurve with this satiny vest from DeLa that comes in basic black and brown, as well as some deep jewel tones like this delicious moss green that I had to have. It also comes with a ruffly prim scarf and vest bottom not shown in the pic, just cuz I was in a hurry to shop and too lazy to adjust the prims. For the pants, I wanted something kinda dressy to shine like the top, so I went with these ivory pants from the Sweetest Goodbye Monocrom set I found in my inventory. On a side note, DeLa also has a long-sleeved jacket, shorts and mid-calf pants with a flared hem to coordinate with the vests.

Girls Game Night

Pandora is one of my oldest friends in Sl, when she came back into game, we've been shopping (to catch her up of course) and giddy as hell! I lovers my Pannie, after a night of playing games with friends, we both couldn't sleep and decided to take new pictures, our last session was closed to 10 months ago, of course the REAL story is... she's distracting (hehe). My initial plan was suppose to be taking pictures for the blog, but these turned out so great, i decided to blog them instead. We both found these outfits at Nyte N Day, I haven't been there in so long and her new things are so cute!! I immediately fell in love with this and wished i bought it during the summer to wear around, luckily SL is 80 degrees YEAR ROUND!!

Autumn Leaves

Its almost that time of year again when people begin flocking to the area I live to view the changing of the leaves to the vibrant reds and oranges of the season. I'm also seeing these changes in Second Life and as the landscaping in sims begins to change to fall foliage, I decided to find an ensemble perfect for those autumn strolls through the forrest, hayrides, and sipping cider by the fire.

First, I needed a sweater and this cozy knit in a beautiful sage shade from Persona was the perfect fit and the style makes any other accessories unnecessary. The texturing looks so soft and cozy, you just wanna reach out and stroke it and the seductive rolled neckline sends the subtle invitation to trail kisses along your bared shoulders. Then I paired it with some rich dark-hued pants from Last Call with silver accents at the waistline falling just perfectly under the hemline of the sweater and those yummy Melisande boots from LC Vamp. Overall, this made for a nicely tailored look for those crisp fall days (and nights).

Has anyone ever noticed... when you look up school girl outfits in sl, its usually the slightly slutty naughty school girl type?? Dont get me wrong, i LOVE those, but when i saw this release by SWEETEST GOODBYE, i let out all sorts of squeals. Its a cross between Harry Potter with the sweater vests and naughty school girl with the impossibly short skirt. Truth be told... the boy bought the oufit first and i inspected him to see where he got it from (rofl!!) I'll be popping in to post the breakdown of whos..wheres.. and whats in a bit.

I was just messing around last week, experimenting with some of the in-world Windlight effects when the love of my life appeared, then those bikini shots got sizzling. I somehow lost the top of this lusciously textured Nicky Ree bikini set! Less can definitely be more, if ya know what I mean *wink wink nudge nudge*. Setting off my farewell to summer look is jewelry from +Plus, Earthstones and miam miam (at Viva La Glam) and a short windblown 'do from the Damselfly Hair Fair release, leaving my neck bare for all kinds of nuzzling action. I needed a casual, no fuss romantic kinda look today. Its just ONE OF THOSE DAYS! I chose this very simple dress from T..A..R..T because i love it! The skin is the new Elizabeth by Tuli and i know a million people have reviewed it, and i refuse to do reviews, but i've love Tuli since her S3 skins ... and every new release she just keeps GETTING more amazing! I just didn't feel like putting any access on, Aden's windblown hair gave the perfect Day Dreamy effect i wanted and voila! This look, its just me today, soft.. quiet.. dreamy.. and in need of a few minutes to breathe. Oh and I'm FINALLY taking some time to look @ photoshopping which i KNOW NOTHING about, but with this pic i just played around a lil with brightening it and the contrast and i think its pretty!

All the rain I've had recently sent me out in search of a fab rainy day outfit for SL and I was happy to find (read: drooling) over Bianca Foulon's sunny gold overcoat. The diamond accents on the belt gave it enough panache that other jewelry accessories aren't even needed. I paired it with with a toned-down black turtleneck sweater and skinny pants. I also found a free color-change umbrella from Viva La Glam to keep this revamped 'do from Maitreya from getting soggy. In an outfit like this, I almost don't mind the rain.

As yet another summer comes to an end, I always feel so sad, luckly SL will always be 80 degrees year round! We all know how easy it is to buy a nice outfit, open the folder and wear it all and have a good looking avatar. But the true Second Life fashionista is the one that can put together a look from bits and pieces of other outfits, mixing and mashing separates, with a keen eye for accessorizing to create a fabulous ensemble that has everyone asking "ZOMG! Where'd you get that?!?!?" In a sense, we are the frankensteins of fashion.
